When overwhelmed by life’s difficulties, struggling with loss or suffering from anxiety, stress, and depression, people often have no one to turn to. Even with friends or family who love them, they don’t feel able to talk openly, due to guilt or embarrassment, or particularly in the case of bereavement, through not wanting to burden others. Often desperate to be ‘heard’ and supported, my clients come to me for counselling and find release as I allow them to offload from a place of pain, helping them find ways to cope with life again. It’s a ‘safe place’ – they can be ‘real’ without any fear of judgement.
Grieving can be a very lonely experience and so I join my clients on their journey, listening with empathy, allowing them to be ‘heard’ as they work through their pain, and enabling them to find hope, purpose and happiness in life again. My support also covers loss associated with miscarriages, pets, relationships, jobs or roles and changes in later life.
Counselling can seem daunting at first, so I offer a free initial consultation, allowing you to chat with me and ask any questions, to help overcome any fears. You don’t have to cope alone. I encourage you to reach out for support. I would see it as a privilege to come alongside you, enabling you to move forward to a brighter tomorrow.

This is a Grief Support Group in Matlock, sponsored by Daisy Vision Counselling. It's for anyone who's struggling with loss and grieving, whether recent or from some time ago. It's often a very lonely journey as we try to deal with a wealth of emotions and struggles, but it's good to talk - it can really help with healing. Free coffee/tea and biscuits are served with a smile, and there's opportunity to share our experiences and find support and friendship with others who know what it's like.
