Hi, I’m Yvette, a qualified Psychotherapist who works, 1 to 1, with adults. I offer an honest and respectful relationship, in which I hold no preconceptions or expectations of you. Through talking and exploring together, I can support you to find new ways of thinking, feeling, and understanding yourself, which will help you to manage the challenges in your life. Before training to be a Psychotherapist, I worked as a Midwife for the NHS. I then raised my family alongside volunteering in a range of support roles.
I am an integrative trained psychotherapist which means that I am able to draw on a number of therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. I have had experience and success working with people who are suffering because of their relationships, depression, anxiety (including health anxiety), anger, other dominant emotions, autism and ADHD.
I work 1 to 1 with adults on a weekly basis over short, medium and long-term periods. I work one day a week in south Birmingham, and the rest of the week, from a therapy room in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield.
