I am a qualified Counsellor and I have gained B A Counselling/mental health Degree ! Diploma in integrative Counselling and a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am also in ongoing professional training to increase and expand my skills. My counselling approach is essentially person-centered, psychodynamic and transpersonal focusing on the uniqueness, potentiality and self-empowerment of the individual. I also draw on my knowledge and understanding of the psychodynamic (transference), Gestalt, Transactional Analysis (TA) and Cognitive approaches to counselling. I have also gained certificate of suicide prevention.
Principally’ my approach is holistic and emphasises the importance for each individual of finding his or her own meaning, values and inspiration in life. I do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, physical disability, gender or sexual orientation. I am also a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP),
I work with young people and adolescents (adults) I am here to help you and offer a safe space, in which to work through your difficulties in way that accepts your individual needs. I am also here as an equal human-being to make easier this process ' by walking you on your journey.
