I am a mental health practitioner specialising in trauma and attachment based work. I work with adults and children. I have worked in CAMHS since 2020 with children and young people and parents with mental health difficulties including anxiety, depression and behavioural difficulties, specialising in children and parents, including postnatal mums. Yogi Buddies helps to make therapy accessible for children and make therapy child-friendly, not an experience for a child to fear! Yogi Buddies uses a trauma-informed yoga therapy approach (BPS accredited) which is ideal for children who are not able to engage with traditional therapy.
I have experience within specialist residential settings, frontline social work and within CAMHS services in NHS. I am a therapist for children and my approach combines yoga, breath-work, meditation and use of psychological techniques with the use of sensory input. Using the mind-body connection to soothe the nervous system and regulate emotions.
