About

I aim to work alongside you to create a warm, safe and compassionate space in which to identify and explore your difficulties. I draw on a range of models in my work, including Cognitive Behavioural (CBT), narrative and compassion-focused approaches. I can support you if you feel stuck in unhelpful patterns, are experiencing issues within your relationships or are struggling with a specific difficulty - e.g. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Depression.
I have worked with both children and adults with a variety of presenting mental health problems in a range of settings over the past 10 years. I currently work for a specialist trauma service in the NHS.
Reaching out for support can be difficult and there can be many barriers that can get in the way. I offer a free 20 minute consultation by telephone or online in order to understand what you are seeking to address in therapy and how we could begin to work together. This also provides an opportunity to ask me any questions you may have.
