I offer therapy, including EMDR, for a range of issues commonly experienced as challenging; such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, bereavement/loss, difficulties experienced in life crises and major transitions (relationships, parenthood, midlife, third act), cultural issues, low self-esteem, and identity issues (sexuality, work or cultural). I have a special interest in the experience of uprooted childhoods - family break-up or displacement, and its effect on identity and the ability to feel trust. I also offer Perinatal support sessions to women and men during the pregnancy stage and in the weeks following birth.
Whether you are in crisis, or worried about something that's going on in your life, talking can make a difference. As an Integrative Psychotherapist I use a variety of different approaches, drawing on whatever seems most helpful to you.
I will listen to you express the challenges that you face and use my knowledge, skills and experience to try and get to the heart of the problem.
