I am an experienced counselor and psychotherapist with more than 10 years experience in the NHS. I specialize in working with adults who experience mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma and long term physical health conditions. I am a Person Centred Counselor and EMDR practitioner. My practice is informed by other approaches such as CBT and motivational interviewing. I am a native Greek speaker. As a counselor, I believe in my client’s potential for self-growth. I put my client’s experience and hopes first and I do not let my own values interfere. My style and approach are compassionate and non-judgmental.
I have experience in working with clients who present with: Trauma, Low Mood/Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment to Major Life Changes, Bereavement, Long term Physical Health Conditions.
My first degree was in Psychology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. While studying psychology, I realized that helping others was fulfilling, it contributed to my own personal development and so I decided to study counseling. I moved to the UK in 2009 where I graduated with a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology, Keele University
