My experience - both personal & professional - means I genuinely understand. Anxiety, Alcohol/Drugs, Grief, Trauma, Abuse or Low Self-Esteem. Maybe it’s something else but you don’t know quite what. Together, we can explore your difficult feelings and help you to understand them better. Then we’ll look at ways for you to see a more positive way ahead. Counselling changes people’s lives. I have seen it happen in people I’ve worked with and have experienced it myself.
My journey through life, combined with a broad range of counselling experience means I can help you explore your difficulties with empathy and without judgment. My aim is to help you find a better way forward. My extensive work experience includes several years within residential mental health services and alcohol/drug rehab. Initial 50min meeting only £20.
I believe that a good relationship between client and therapist is the most important factor in the effectiveness of therapy. It’s a big step asking for help, so I offer a low cost (£20) first 50 min session. Then you decide if you feel comfortable working with me. I will not keep you waiting. I answer all enquiries promptly - normally within 1 - 2 hours.
