I support children and families when things feel overwhelming or in crisis. My practice is transparent and collaborative, helping families work together. With a background in SEND Education and as a parent of two autistic children, I understand that the process needs to be as stress-free as possible. I offer a free initial consultation so parents feel informed and supported. Play therapy is gentle, child-led and non-directive, allowing children to explore safely at their own pace. Play and creative arts helps children with a sensory grounding—especially supportive for neurodiverse, traumatised, or looked after/adopted children.
Play Therapy supports children with challenging behaviour, mental health difficulties, or adverse experiences. It doesn’t rely on words and the children do not need emotional literacy to express or process their experiences and begin to move forward. It goes at their own pace and the children move past difficult experiences without being overwhelmed.
I work with families to create a shared understanding of their child’s experiences. Through interim reviews and thorough reports, progress continues beyond sessions.
