Everyone has their own unique way of looking at the world, and I believe there is no one size fits all in Counselling. As a person and also an integrative therapist, I am committed to openness of ideas and the belief that everyone will have different counselling needs.
I am an experienced Counsellor, accredited by BACP and work with adults, both couples and individuals.
My experience includes more than 9 years in private practice, being a volunteer counsellor with Catalyst (a drug, alcohol and well being agency), the YMCA and now with RASASC (a sexual abuse support agency).
All successful therapy is about change of some kind and usually happens when we see and understand things from a different perspective. This can come about through talk or tools which help challenge ideas and ingrained habits, making it clear to us what is important and what we want to leave behind.
Counselling takes place in a calm, friendly and relaxed environment, giving you the space to fully explore what is happening and get things going in a direction which works better for you.
