I work with a range of clients and issues. Work can be long term, short term or somewhere in between. My focus is on assisting my client to identify the issue and anything that then needs to happen. The work is at my client's pace and I am a warm and encouraging therapist, mindful of difference and diversity. Over the past 18 years I have worked with clients from age 5 to 78, each client is unique, no therapy session is the same.

Hi, I'm Angharad. I offer a gentle, safe, and confidential space where you can explore whatever’s on your mind - whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating relationship challenges, processing grief, or simply sensing that something doesn’t feel quite right in your life. Many people come to see me after having tried more structured therapies like CBT wanting something deeper that gets to the root of their difficulties. Rather than offering tools and coping strategies, I help you work through the emotional and relational patterns beneath your struggles which leads to lasting change through deepening self-understanding.

Life in today’s world can feel relentless; balancing career, family, and personal expectations while trying to hold it all together. If you’re feeling the pressure, you’re not alone. I created Letter C Therapy for adults who are tired of just surviving - whether that's anxiety, a relationship shift, navigating grief, or a growing sense that something needs to change. I’m qualified in person-centred counselling: you lead the direction of our work and I provide a space to talk freely, feel truly listened to, and start feeling less alone.

All enquires through my website please. Most people experience anxiety or depression at some point in their lives and need to cope with pain and confusion. You may feel stuck and unmotivated or need to work through a traumatic experience from your past so you can move on with your life. You might also experience work related stress or be dealing with relationship difficulties. Self-development may also be the reason for seeking therapy. Therapy provides an opportunity to explore and make sense of your difficulties in a safe, non-judgmental environment, to develop your self-understanding and improve your relationships.

Often people wonder how counselling or talking to someone can help. When you see a Counsellor/Therapist, you will have a consistency and continuity of a professional relationship, which provides you a space where you are being properly listened to. This can then allow you to think, and get a clear idea of what is going on for you. Together with your Counsellor/Therapist you can begin to explore and unpack your ideas, views, opinions, etc. This could lead you to more clarity and you may become more mindful of yourself.

I support people experiencing a range of mild to moderate mental health difficulties, including anxiety, bereavement, trauma, menopause-related challenges and separation, as well as those simply wanting to make sense of life changes or find greater balance and meaning. I work with individuals, couples and families, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space to explore whatever is going on for you. I also enjoy working creatively when it feels right for the client - using creative approaches can sometimes help express thoughts and feelings that are hard to put into words.

Thanks to you for visiting my my profile. Having delivered therapy to the Armed Forces community, NHS, and privately over the past 23 years I've been privileged to support a broad range of people and their difficulties. Whether struggling with the impacts of trauma, or with the stuck feeling of stress, anxiety, loss, and depression, finding acceptance is often the key to the door of your healing. I believe that we sometimes forget the inherent goodness that lies within, which once reconnected with, can mean we live a more meaningful and rewarding life. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or to arrange a consultation.

There is no one way of living, and we will all find ourselves faced with challenges along the way. Sometimes, the help of an outside source can enable us to view things in a different light or explore in more depth, which is where counselling can be beneficial. I am a Person-centred counsellor working in an integrative way, as I believe no two people are ever the same, so how can a counselling approach be? For that reason, my approach may differ depending on who I am working with and their individual needs. I love meeting people from all walks of life, and it is a true privilege to play a small role in their journey through life.

I am a BACP accredited psychotherapist with over 15 years experience within private practice and both public and financial sectors at a senior level. Sometimes, people are clear about what they are struggling with: anxiety, panic attacks, depression, PTSD, grief/loss, personal or work related issues/relationships etc. Others may be less clear and feel that what they are experiencing "is not bad enough". Whichever group you fall into, if you have an experience or situation that is impacting your daily life; either something that happened years ago or more recently, working to find a way forward, is your choice.

Making sense of life and our relationships can be challenging at times. We might find ourselves contemplating if we are causing ourselves unnecessary unhappiness, or if this is 'just the way things are'? Should I just keep sticking at 'it', or is it time for things to change? Might we be living our lives in 'survival mode' when we could be 'thriving' instead?

Within each of us lies the vision and hope for the life we want to live. Yet, we can feel overwhelmed by inner or outer challenges, fears, negative beliefs, low self-esteem, anxiety or depression. In many years of practice, I have seen the resilience of the human spirit. As a Spiritual Psychotherapist, I work with traditional approaches, as well as those rooted in Transpersonal Psychology, Archetypal Psychology and Shamanism which recognize the power and strength inherent within to facilitate change. My aim is to act as guide as clients address past pain and present circumstances that limit the ability to live a life in full bloom.

Infidelity Counsellors
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
