I have extensive experience of supporting people through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties and believe in the importance of building genuine and transparent relationships, working at relational depth to help facilitate change.
The issues I work with are many and varied and clients goals are fundamentally 'to feel better' and live a more enriched and fuller life. How this is achieved and the therapeutic strategies employed will be unique and individual to every client.
I am a registered, accredited psychotherapist and supervisor practicing for over 20 years both privately and within the NHS.
My approach comprises of Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy.
I am also a trainee clinical supervisor (fitness to practice letter received).
I believe in the importance of working from an authentic and transparent standpoint connecting with people on a meaningful level, with a genuine understanding of some of the difficulties they may be facing. My therapeutic practice focuses on enabling you to work through the issues that may be holding you back and move towards a brighter future.
