Hello, and thanks for looking at my profile. I’m an accredited therapist with over 19 years experience, and wholly comfortable in helping people with a range of issues, from trauma to depression, abuse to anxiety, and many more. For me, the most important element in therapy is whether you feel you can trust me - and I know this is not always easy. You’ve likely been hurt and perhaps a little wary and weary of people. I’m not going to “fix” you, I can’t! Though the good news is, by working collaboratively, you absolutely can heal the wounds you carry, and begin to live the life you want to.
Trained in the person-centred approach (non-directive, non-analytical), this humanistic style is at the heart of all I do. Nothing good happens in therapy without mutual trust and respect and I'll do all I can to prove to you I am worth trusting. I'm Level 3 EMDR and have a particular interest in working with trauma.
