Maybe you’ve spent a lifetime feeling “different” without the words for it - exhausted by certain environments, struggling in relationships, or hiding parts of yourself to feel accepted. If you're neurodivergent, you might be seeking a space where you don’t have to mask or explain. Or perhaps you’re living with cancer - newly diagnosed or long-term - or supporting someone who is, while carrying the emotional weight alone. You may also hold complex trauma, shaped over time, not always easy to name. If any of this feels familiar, know this: there’s nothing wrong with you. Your pain makes sense. You don’t have to carry it alone.

We all go through difficult periods in our lives. Sometimes for easily identifiable reasons - bereavement, loss, heartbreak, employment stress, family or relationship difficulties, trauma. But sometimes things don't feel right and we don't know why. Perhaps you wake up with a feeling of dread. Perhaps you feel empty, going through the motions of a life that no longer feels like the one you wanted. Talking to friends or family can feel impossible, either from shame or a fear of being a burden. It's easy to become trapped in lonely isolation and feel helpless to effect change. I hope I can help you to lighten the load.

When anxiety takes over, it’s often a sign of unresolved past experiences keeping our attachment patterns stuck in limbo. My practice centres on targeted realignment: helping you unpack those old patterns and reshape them. In a safe and confidential environment, we’ll look at how your early life and relationships shape your thoughts today. By addressing these root causes together, you'll gain the insight and tools you need to build a more resilient, confident path forward.

Therapy can be a life changing experience, a time for growth, exploration and personal development. You may be coming in the hope to resolve some past or current experiences or you may feel overwhelmed, confused, lost, stuck. You might be experiencing difficult symptoms and unhelpful behaviours that inhibit you from living your life to the full. Perhaps you struggle in your environment to fully thrive. I welcome people of any gender identity, sexuality or with any relationship style. I deeply respect difference and actively practice anti-racism. Together we can work on whatever might be the right approach for you.

You might feel like you’re holding everything together on the outside, while inside things feel messy, heavy, or hard to make sense of. My clinical masters level informed approach offers a space for you to explore your experiences at your own pace, within a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment. Together, we’ll gently make sense of what’s happening for you and begin to uncover what might be keeping you feeling stuck, with the aim of opening up the possibility for change. I centre my work on the belief that healing happens through a genuine, trusting connection, so that meaningful and lasting change can take place.

It can be incredibly difficult to reach out when you feel something is ‘not quite right’ or even needing someone who will listen to thoughts or feelings you have been holding. Working on trust is important to me, by having a good connection it allows for sessions to feel comfortable. I will not judge you, lecture you or offer ‘solutions’– the purpose of therapy is to allow you to reach your own conclusions in a safe environment.

Life can look fine on the outside while feeling overwhelming on the inside. Perhaps you've been living with anxiety, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss or a persistent feeling that something isn't quite right. Maybe you've become so used to coping that you've forgotten what it feels like to truly thrive. Therapy offers a space where you don't have to face these challenges alone. I provide a warm, non-judgmental and collaborative environment where we can explore what's bringing you here, understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and work towards meaningful, lasting change.

My name is Elizabeth and I work with adult individuals and couples. Sometimes we feel lost and struggle to cope with life’s difficulties. Taking the first step to contact a therapist can feel really difficult and so I’d like you to know that our therapeutic 'space' is safe and non-judgemental.
