Are you experiencing difficulties trying to lose weight or manage your weight? Perhaps you have tried many different diets but can never do them for long, or regain the weight you have lost. Diets do not work in the long term. In fact, going on a strict ‘diet’ can actually lead to long term weight gain, and yo-yo dieting. Some people find they go on a diet as many as five or six times a year, and on average people do 126 fad diets across their lifetime. How much time, energy, money, and effort is that? I want to help you get out of the dieting cycle for good, by helping you to find what works for you, and a way to stick at it.
I have created an innovative and practical coaching programme that will transform your relationship with food. Together with me, in private one-to-one sessions, you will; discover why dieting has not worked for you; understand the unique reasons why and when you eat; enjoy a natural relationship with food.
I have spent over ten years studying the psychology of eating, and published over 20 papers and book chapters on subjects such as emotional eating, cravings, mindful eating, and obesity. Having lost considerable weight myself, I want to use my knowledge and experience to motivate and help others towards being free of dieting, and in control of their eating.
