Wendy Illingworth is a Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (Applied Psychologist) accredited by the BABCP and EMDR Europe with over thirteen years experience working in both the NHS and private sector as a lead therapist. She is also an accredited EMDR practitioner. Wendy’s lengthy training and experience has involved working therapeutically with a wide range of psychological difficulties including Depression, Anxiety Disorders (e.g. Phobias, Panic, Social Anxiety and OCD) and PTSD.
Wendy delivers predominantly CBT but is also trained in several psychological models including EMDR , ACT, CFT and DBT. Wendy also offers supervision to psychologists.
My years of experience have shown me how effective evidence based psychological therapy can be and it continues to be a privilege to undertake this work.
