At this time of difficulty - and maybe breakthrough - for you I can walk with you as your kind and wise ally. We can acknowledge what's hard and identify the changes you want to put into place. I'm a coach as well as a counsellor. You'll find that, in addition to the usual therapuetic services I can also offer you at least two special services: 1. creative arts therapy 2. flexible counselling if you're someone who works far away (say as cabin crew) and can't connect for regular slots. We can work by letter and email, as well as Zoom, if you wish. The point is to ensure you get the KIND of support you need, and WHEN you need it.
I'm creative, old & know about a range of possibilities we can explore, including narrative, gestalt, solution-focused and integrative therapy. I specialise in therapies that use metaphor & simile. Why? Because this is a fast way to move towards the heart of what's troubling you and help you envisage your next positive steps.
You are the world expert on you. We will be co-explorers, not patient vs expert. I will respect your choices. Sessions are warm & friendly. Tissues are at the ready but sometimes there is laughter too. I hope you will leave sessions feeling relieved & happier. At our preliminary session we can see if we are the right fit.
