Over the years, I've come to appreciate that everyone, regardless of their background, has a unique story that is worthy of being heard and understood. Life, with its unpredictable turns, presents challenges that can sometimes feel insurmountable. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, respect, and evidence-based practice. I combine both Psychodynamic Therapy, where I look to understand your childhood to where you are today, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an integrative approach.
As an Integrative Therapist, I work closely with your past, bringing what may be unconscious to you, and making it more understandable. A process of "joining the dots" to where you are today. I include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in practice to help manage behaviour by helping my clients challenge and modify irrational beliefs and distorted thinking.
In my practice, I have been privileged to walk alongside many individuals on their therapeutic journeys. Their courage, resilience, and trust have been both humbling and inspiring. As I continue this journey as a psychotherapist, I remain steadfast in my belief that healing becomes possible within the realm of understanding and genuine connection.
