Counselling in W8
Reaching out for help can be hard but it is an important step in the right direction towards living your life fully. Sometimes trying to navigate through life alone can be confusing and speaking to friends or family can often be too difficult, this is why talking to a neutral professional counsellor can provide you with the support you need. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore the areas of your life that you are struggling with. By exploring your thoughts, feelings and behaviours of the past and present I can help you gain better self-awareness and overcome the obstacles weighing you down.

I work with adults and couples who are suffering from depression, anxiety and grief caused by relationship loss. When a relationship breaks down, or keeping a relationship is difficult, or someone dies, we lose a part of ourselves. We feel lost and we have a diminished sense of self. Working together we can understand the process of grief, work through the stages, work on regaining strength and self-identity towards a place of happiness. My personal and professional understanding of grief allows me to hold space for my clients in a way that feels authentic and safe. I can sit with ambiguity and pain knowing that there is hope.

Do relationships feel like hard work instead of bringing you joy and being a "safe heaven"? Whether you’re single, dating or in a long-term relationship, you still may feel lonely, confused or stuck. And you start overthinking, feeling anxious, guilty or “not enough”. Maybe you keep arguing about “small things”, avoid intimacy or notice the same painful story repeating with different people.
But deep down, you long for calm, emotional safety and honest conversations – to feel close and wanted, and finally relax and be yourself without losing your independence

During these uncertain times, there is one constant that we can draw upon and that is Mother Nature - our original context and fundamental place of belonging. Having therapy or mindfulness sessions outside in nature has a calming influence on our nervous system and offers an opportunity to go back to our roots. Whether being with the horses or walking outside in the local countryside, we give ourselves the space to safely explore our experiences of life, build awareness in the present moment and find choice and renewed purpose in our life.

The longer I work as a therapist the more convinced I am that when I go into the therapy room I do not meet an issue, a problem, or a diagnosis, I meet a human being. And if we are going to work together, then I need to be seeing the client’s world (as far as I can) through the client’s eyes. So I hesitate to say that I specialise in any particular issue. I hope I specialise in listening deeply and with attention to human beings.
I like to think that therapy is like a guide that encourages you to see what you may have missed or ignored. I work with clients encouraging different aspects of the personality to find their voice.

Problems with a particular relationship is often what brings individuals and couples to relationship counselling and psychotherapy. As an experienced counsellor and psychotherapist I offer a non judgmental space where we can think together about the interaction and the conflicts of this relationship, seek to understand the recurrent patterns of difficulties you are facing and resolve the underlying issues. Counselling and psychotherapy may involve exploring the past to the extent that it influences the present.

Whether that is presented in feelings of anxiety, depression, sadness, isolation, feelings of not being able to cope, a general feeling of dissatisfaction or relying on external elements such as alcohol or drugs for relief. I am here to provide support and to offer a non-judgemental empathic approach. The goal is to assist you in making the changes you need by talking things through in a safe environment.

Life can feel overwhelming or uncertain at times, and it’s not always easy to make sense of what we’re thinking or feeling, even with support around us. Therapy can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to understand what’s going on beneath the surface.

You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what comes next — and you’ve likely tried to handle it all on your own.
My clients come to me because they want to understand why they feel the way they do, heal what’s been holding them back, and build a life that feels more grounded, connected, and purposeful.
Many of the people I work with struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or a sense that they’re “not enough.” Others are navigating big transitions; leaving a relationship, changing careers, confronting past trauma, intrusive thoughts or OCD.
They don’t just want coping skills; they want insight, grow

Hello, I'm an experienced UKCP psychotherapist and supervisor, offering face-face and online therapy. You may want to address a specific issue such as anxiety, low self esteem, work burnout or relationship difficulties, or perhaps you're a couple facing a crisis. Sometimes there is just a vague, nagging sense that something feels wrong. Most of us hold parts of ourselves which feel elusive or unwanted, and sometimes deeply painful. By working in therapy we can explore those shadow sides, to help better understand the obstacles that may be holding us back.
