I am an experienced UKCP-accredited Core Process Psychotherapist (Karuna Institute). My approach is mindfulness-based, and I place an emphasis upon the importance of presence, deep listening, curiosity, embodied experience, warmth and attunement within the therapeutic relationship.
I have additional training in Energy Psychotherapy (EP) - combining cognitive and somatic methods - which looks to clear long-held, energetic patterns that can keep us feeling stuck or bound by limitation. I’ve found energetic methods, such as EFT-based acupoint tapping, to be complimentary to my accredited practice.

I have been working in Mental Health since 2001 supporting adults with mental health conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Eating and Personality Disorders. I have gained understanding of the complexities of these illnesses and the difficulties clients are going through in the processes of treatment and recovery. The therapies I use refer to human optimisation, health promotion, prevention and treatment of psychological problems. As a therapist, I use approaches that best suit clients and their individual needs. I aim to enable clients to explore their issues and take actions in order to bring positive changes into their lives.

I am an existential psychotherapist working with individuals and couples who are looking to take meaningful steps towards living in more fulfilling ways. In seeking therapy, we are committing to invest in ourselves and the important relationships around us. This is a daunting task that requires courage, honesty and compassion from both the client and the therapist. Our most compelling emotional learnings occur through relationships, not on our own, therefore the therapist and the quality of the therapeutic relationship are fundamental to deeper emotional understanding and insight.

It can be daunting to find a therapist you can trust for help with your emotional and psychological difficulties. Often our suffering is concealed from friends, family or colleagues because we are good at hiding it but deep inside, we are left feeling far from happy, fulfilled or content. I am passionate about helping people live better lives. I believe in creating a trusting therapeutic relationship where people can safely discuss their difficulties without fear of criticism or shame. I help them discover what matters to them and how they would like to show up in the world through healing and reconnecting with their strengths.

I am a Humanistic counsellor with a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) from the University of Oxford. My work is shaped by experience in counselling and trauma-informed settings, supporting adults through periods of emotional distress, transition, and change.
I am interested in how personal narratives are formed — and how they can become rigid, self-limiting, or shaped by earlier experiences. Alongside relational and reflective work, I draw on CBT-informed interventions where these can help loosen unhelpful patterns and support greater emotional flexibility.
