Hello my names Vivienne I am a Trauma informed psychotherapist, I help my clients to be able to open up and feel safe to explore thoughts and feelings that have been painful to visit I help clients to be able to express themselves in ways they may not be able to outside of the counselling
environment, my clients leave feeling empowered to come back and unpack the things that have been holding them back from making decisions that benefit them and not to please others . Ultimately I want my clients to feel empowered and comfortable to be themselves in a society that demands conformity.
I can help by offering a range of techniques that are tailored to the individual client .the base of my approach is person centred meaning the client is in the driving seat , I am
there to facilitate this .I use talking therapy , mindfulness , meditation , creativeness such as art or writing .
I feel privileged to work with each individual client , It is truly an honour when someone entrusts their experiences to you and I accept all my clients as they are in the moment. It takes courage for someone to explore who they are and determination to work through question and their experiences . My clients are brave even when they don't feel so .
