My main aim in life has and always will be to help people find peace and joy in their lives. This can be very difficult to source when life today is so challenging. Whether it is financial worries, loss of a loved one, disability, illness, family issues, bullying, work pressure, trauma, (amongst others) all can induce stress, depression and anxiety. Besides a wealth of life experience, I have a degree in Integrative relationship counselling, which enables me to work in a way to suit each individual and their issues. We will work together at your pace to find a healing path.
I enjoy working with men and women from all walks of life. I also work with young people (from age 13 years) and in particular those suffering from social anxiety. I have a particular interest in trauma related issues and bereavement. I am a Christian but this does not influence my work, unless requested, and I welcome clients from any other faiths.
I have a specialist interest in supporting people through bereavement and related responses including depression, feelings of guilt, spirituality and exploring life without your loved one. I am a very empathetic listener. It is important for you to feel safe and comfortable to discuss what you are experiencing.
