As a Person-Centred practitioner, Empathy, Acceptance and Honesty are at the core of my practice. I bring a warmth to the counselling room which allows my clients a safe place to explore whatever they bring. I believe that in viewing each person as an individual a unique process takes place, where, through active listening, healing can occur. I have learnt that although past events cannot be changed, what can be changed over time is the relationship with your feelings in regard to the traumatic situation experienced and what you have grown to believe about yourself.
I work with a wide range of issues. In particular working with trauma, complex PTSD, dealing with anxiety, anger, shame, guilt, flashbacks, nightmares, also issues like emotional distress, loneliness, isolation and social anxiety. Bereavement, addictions, low self-confidence, low-self-esteem, family issues, stress, disabilities, relationship problems etc.
Finding a way to deal with problems of any type on your own can be a struggle and you may find that support within a confidential space can be of great help. I offer you a safe space where you can feel comfortable to explore issues, with the aim of reaching to a place of balance within yourself.
