I felt that I can use my skills from when I was a social worker to work with people who feel that they would benefit from talking to someone about what is happening to your life at the moment. I can be that person to give you that space for talk to about what is happening in your life(s) at this moment. I can work with you on issues that are causing your stress , anxiety bereavement and loss or you might have family relationship difficulties people close to you . As a counsellor I would be able to help you to work through those feelings. I work primarily with adults and i also work with couples on your relationship
I trained as a pluralistic counsellor, psychotherapist, and Hypnotherapist. I am trained in a variety of approaches and can adapt my practice to what would benefit you, the client. I have knowledge of Person Centred Counselling, Cognitive behavioural counselling, Psychodynamic couples and family relationship and bereavement counselling.
I work with a wide variety of issues. In our first session I would like to find out about what you wish to work on and together we would decide the best way to work through your issues. You might decide that you are not ready to work on some of your issues that’s ok because counselling is about what is right for you and you have the right to choose.
