Having worked in the field of mental health for over 28 years, I have a deep understanding of the challenges people are faced with on a daily basis. How we experience these challenges can become overwhelming and we can feel alone, helpless and disconnected. There may be times when it's useful to seek help outside of your current circle of support by talking with a counsellor and I can help you find new ways to explore and manage the difficulties you are experiencing. I work with individuals & couples to offer short-term counselling to address immediate concerns, and long term psychotherapy to address complex issues.
I understand how vulnerable it can feel to share your personal experiences and it often takes courage and bravery to open the door to something new and different. I provide a safe, private space and time for you to talk about your feelings and experiences. I ensure you will be supported throughout our work together.
I value the relationships I have with my clients and I welcome you to contact me. It is important that there is a good "fit" between myself and potential clients to ensure that your therapy experience is the best possible.
