Hello, I'm Victoria. Making that first step towards getting support can be daunting- it can be difficult to know what you need. The most important factor is finding a therapist who you can build a trusting and safe relationship with and that will be an important part of our work together. I'm an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years experience. I offer a safe and confidential service to adults experiencing a wide variety of mental health difficulties. I'm interested in understanding the ways your experiences in life have influenced how you've learned to navigate your relationships and the world.
I've completed a diploma in psychodynamic psychotherapy, IFS L1 & am fully trained in EMDR. I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, survivors of sexual abuse, relationship difficulties and difficulties surrounding pregnancy, birth and beyond - increasing self compassion and moving towards a richer more fulfilling experience of being.
I am happy to discuss your needs either by phone or by email initially. I have face to face availability during working hours in cosy clinic rooms in central Leeds and in Otley. I am very happy to meet for a one off session so that you can develop a sense of whether I might be someone you feel able to work with.
