I am an HCPC registered-Clinical Psychologist with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. I have extensive experience in helping people cope with many life challenges and treating concerns including identity and transitioning, trauma, serious mental illness, HIV/AIDS, grief, family concerns, adjustment distress, substance use, mood and personality disorders, developmental disorders and Autism, and aging. I work with various populations inclusive of: LGBTQIA+, adolescents, adults, Veterans, and families and couples.
In total (master's and doctorate), I have 16 years of experience working with a diverse and complex range of concerns. I operate using many therapy modalities that will offer comprehensive mental, behavioral and substance use treatment and will select these based on a collaborative discussion of your needs and preferences.
I believe in providing a safe, supportive space and utilizing integrative and evidence-based therapy. My approach to therapy is to meet you where you are with compassion and empathy and help you learn individualized strategies that assist you in meeting your goals for change and emotional wellness.
