There are so many reasons why you might be looking for a counsellor/therapist; anxiety, sadness, relationships, abuse, trauma, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss etc or just wanting to understand yourself. As a counsellor I offer a neutral compassionate non-judgemental place where you will be safe to speak, think, explore, be listened to and heard in order to help you make sense of what's going on and enable you to learn the tools to help you make the changes you want and need. In our first appointment I will listen to what you bring and we can then decide together how to move forward together.
As an integrative counsellor I use different models and theories, this might be CBT where we explore your how your thoughts influence your behaviour; or we may look at the issues from an analytical perspective to see where everything started, or use creative tools to help you express what is difficult to verbalise and psycho-education to understand more.
What ever you feel you would like to explore or get help for please do get in touch for an initial conversation about how we could build a therapeutic relationship and work together for you discover the answers and find the tools to help you move forward with your life. I look forward to hearing from you.
