Hello and thanks for visiting. Life can bring about challenges and it can feel difficult to know how to navigate these. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step and its essential to find the right therapist to help you on your way. As a Psychological Therapist I have worked in different settings from universities where I provided therapy to students, a rape crisis charity and primary care Talking Therapies service working with areas such as grief, depression, abuse/trauma and anxiety. You might feel quite lost in life -this is where we can work together to move through your current situation to get you where you want to be.
I am an integrative therapist meaning I utilise different therapies, a person-centred foundation with elements of CBT, transactional analysis and solution focused work, based on your own individual needs. Having spent 20 years in the veterinary profession, I have a particular focus in supporting caring roles in stress, burnout and compassion fatigue.
I bring empathy, understanding and acceptance to my work. I draw on my work in primary care with people from diverse backgrounds which helps to form a deep understanding of the challenges that clients can face. Starting therapy can feel daunting so I offer a 30 minute introductory call to go through any questions or concerns you might have.
