Hi, I’m Vic and I am an experienced integrative Counsellor/ Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist & Clinical Supervisor. For those unfamiliar with the (often complicated!) jargon of the therapy world, integrative simply means that I am trained to use different ways of working, depending on the person I am working with. I can adapt how I work to suit you and if something doesn’t fit with you then we can try something else.
I have years of experience working in the NHS as well as with a number of specialist charities. I am confident to work with a broad range of difficulties; ranging from stress, anxiety, to depression. I am compassionate, empathetic and caring. I am also a firm believer in supporting and empowering every individual to reach their full potential.
I am an accredited member of the BACP professional body (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) which means I have completed additional training after qualifying. I am accountable to the BACP and therefore required to work at a high standard.
