I offer a safe and non-judgmental space in which an individual can explore their life in their own personal way, as a means of finding deeper understanding; balance and to strengthen their resolve. Whilst being a counsellor I have experience working within the Ministry Of Justice for 19+ years delivering Therapeutic Groups for both men and women who have entered the Criminal Justice System.
I have worked with clients who have experienced, childhood traumas; abuse; addiction; anger management; anxiety & stress; bereavement; separation & loss; survivors guilt; self-esteem & identity issues; depression; sexuality; teenage pregnancy & parenting; diversity; cultural & migration related issues; disability; relationship difficulties &; self-injury.
A fundamental component of my work is about supporting clients to explore their life experiences in their own way using their own narrative. For some, the prospect of this can be daunting, however knowing they will be listened to and not judged can help to make this process feel more manageable.
