About
Are you someone who lies awake at night struggling to make sense of things that are happening in your life? Are these things you are struggling with recent, or have you kept them bottled up, perhaps, for a long time? Is it difficult to express these feelings to friends and family, maybe you are worried about overwhelming other people. If some of this sounds familiar, then contact me. Together we can work on helping you to make sense of your thoughts and feelings, enable you to feel better and move forward with your life.
I work with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional difficulties, although I have a special interest in bereavement counselling. Bereavement counselling is about loss which can come in many different forms, a bereavement, relationship breakdown, unemployment, loss of a pet, loss through disability or illness, sometimes loss of who we, ourselves, are.
From my own experiences, I know that contacting a counsellor can be daunting. Therefore it is important to choose a counsellor you feel you can connect with and trust. If you decide to approach me, my aim will be to offer you a counselling space where you can fully express your feelings and be listened to, without judgement, in a confidential space.
