Tricia Butler - Clear Counselling Ni
Counsellor, MBACP Accred
I am an experienced Integrative counsellor, psychotherapist, CBT and EFT therapist also experienced in family support work. My client group is diverse and I am skilled working with: anxiety, depression, addiction, abuse, post-natal depression, birth trauma, miscarriage, infant loss, infertility, PTSD, OCD, chronic ill health, bereavement, grief, suicide, identity, anger, relationships, parenting, loneliness, and much more. Stress makes it challenging for us to define issues, needs or goals, so I work to help clients make sense of their circumstances. Helping clients adapt, become resilient and empowered is at the core of my work.
Working across various settings - a GP group practice, a crisis intervention agency, a cancer charity and a charity supporting families with sight-impaired children - I have a broad spectrum of experience. I am particularly skilled in the areas of relationship dynamics (family/other), disability (physical/learning) and chronic ill-health (cancer/other).
I have a natural ability to build relationships and I genuinely care about helping people feel better in order to live better. My approach is holistic and I work to carefully understand each persons individual needs. My clients are met with warmth, empathy, respect and compassion. I share knowledge and resources with clients to take away from our sessions.
