If you have landed on this page I believe an important part of you knows that you are suffering and need support. I know myself that entering a therapeutic relationship when we are feeling uncertain or vulnerable is a brave and courageous act. Good therapy should lead to a deeper understanding of ourselves, others, and ultimately a reduction in our suffering. I use my experience and clinical expertise to help people who are dealing with life transitions, illness or trauma e.g. bereavement, retirement, divorce, parenting, chronic or life-threatening illness, adult autism & ADHD, eating disorders, difficult/abusive relationships.
I am a BPS Chartered Psychologist, a HCPC Practitioner Health Psychologist and a trained psychotherapist. I am a sensitive and empathic person with personal experience of distressing and challenging life events. I aim to help deepen your connection to your inner needs and resources. I use a range of approaches that are focused on you.
An important aspect of effective therapy (e.g., increase in quality of life and decrease in depression, anxiety, physical pain) is the quality of the relationship between the therapist and the client. It is important that you feel comfortable with me so please email to arrange a 15 min free consultation so that we can explore if we would be a suitable fit.
