Sometimes our life can feel complicated, our emotions can feel like they are working against us. We can find ourselves experiencing anxiety, stress, depression, and trauma. Maybe life has become difficult and we can’t cope, or have lost our direction? I work with individuals, couples, and support people from a diverse range backgrounds, who are experiencing some of the struggles I have outlined above. You Need Not Struggle, I have counselled and supported clients with a variety of life’s problems, from specific concerns to issues where the client is less sure as to the cause of their unhappiness, over 25 years working in this field.
As part of my skillset I sometimes use art and creativity as a therapeutic tool. I also provide clinical supervision for counsellors and psychotherapists. My main area of specialty is Transgender and Detransitioning. I identify as Gender Fluid, and I am the author of a book on this topic. I also work with my 2 small therapy dogs for those interested.
I work within the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy - BACP Ethical Framework. I have supported clients both long and short term during times of personal distress, relationship difficulties, and other life changing events.
