Hi I'm Tracy. It can be difficult to choose a psychotherapist, so I hope the information about me helps, and if you'd like a chat before meeting, let me know. First step creating a really good connection, so initial contact is about creating a safe space for us to work together. We will focus on your goals for therapy and develop a collaborative understanding of your story, and what may be contributing towards any difficulties. I’m skilled in working with most mental health conditions. My aim is to foster your self-awareness, enhance emotional wellbeing, and provide the tools needed to to navigate life’s challenges more effectively
In my practice, I integrate a variety of interventions specifically tailored to you. Drawing on strategies and skills from interpersonal psychotherapy, EMDR, interpersonal counselling, motivational interviewing, solution focused therapy and attachment informed therapies.
I have spent 19 years in the NHS, working across two mental health trusts in the UK.
I'm not the kind of therapist that just sits back and nods, I tend to be more dynamic. Psychotherapy can powerfully increase your self-awareness and empower you to gain more personal freedom. If we work together, you will come to know more about yourself and be enabled to more fully adapt to the inevitable difficulties of life and living.
