I am a highly experienced Person Centred registered counsellor Accredited with the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists, working with children, young people and young adults. My aim is to provide a professional service to the practice which is based between Maldon and Tiptree. I work in a non-judgemental and confidential way which provides a safe, secure and inviting environment. It is important to me to be authentic and offer genuine attention as I believe that it is only in a genuine relationship where you can express thoughts and feelings which can initiate change.
I work in a sensitive manner enabling me to use different therapeutic approaches to suit individual personalities and presenting issues therefore treating each client as unique. When working with younger clients I work creatively with art, toys, puppets and sand tray which can help express and understand their feelings easier than solely talking therapy.
