About
I am an experienced and qualified counsellor working full time in my profession. It is very important to feel comfortable working with a counsellor with whom you have a relationship built upon trust, openness and honesty, where you feel at ease and accepted without judgement. I offer an initial free telephone consultation where we can discuss any queries you may have around counselling. This is important so we can identify together how therapy can be useful to you. I explain how I work and what you can expect from me. I work regularly with clients with a variety of issues including anxiety, low mood, family concerns & bereavement
The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about an increase in anxiety (GAD) and depression for many people, particularly those of school and college age. I have experience of working with young people (11-18years), adults and couples with issues such as anxiety, gender and sexuality and low seIf-esteem. I also work with couples experiencing relationship issues.
The lockdown has sadly put a strain on many couples and family relationships. Many of us have found ourselves struggling with bereavement, not being able to see our loved ones and grieve in the normal way. These issues are on top of health concerns, work stress, panic attacks, low mood, and a drop in confidence, often leaving us feeling stuck and isolated.
