The changing times we are living in seem to offer uncertainty meaning, for many different reasons and in all sorts of ways, we could find ourselves placed under increasing pressure and faced with unreasonable expectations. Life can suddenly be turned upside down by unexpected life altering events which you may not have the energy to deal with, feel less able to cope and may lead to impacting your relationships with family, peers and also work colleagues. Counselling can help when faced with challenges, overwhelmed by feelings of distress, confusion and anxiety about past issues or finding it hard to make decisions in the present.
Alongside my private practice, I also volunteer as a counsellor and supervisor with our local branch of a national charity and have been privileged to be able to do that for 15 years. My personal experience has been of depression, anxiety, bereavement and relationship issues as well as a variety of other life challenges.
From my own experience I know how hard taking the first step to counselling is and the importance of finding someone you can trust, are comfortable with and able to share your deepest thoughts and feelings with. It's crucial you feel heard and understood, that what you share remains confidential and you can feel genuine warmth. Please call or message me.
