Welcome to my profile page. I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and Supervisor with over 20 years' experience. I work with and integrated approach which means I use several other counselling approaches within my work to help you to reach your goals. These include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Coach-Therapy and Solution Focussed Therapy, these approaches may help you to develop better coping strategies. I work face-to-face and online using video call on Skype, WhatsApp or other platforms. I work with adults and adolescence aged 11 years and up. Young people often value been able to talk through their feelings in private.
When I work with you, I will allow you the time to talk at your own pace without judging you. We will work together with the aim of building a trusted confidential working relationship. It is within this relationship that you can feel free to work through the areas of your life that may feel unsettling or that you would like to change and learn new skills.
Accessing Counselling can feel challenging and at times anxiety levels may seem higher. This is a normal part of making the decision to change and most clients tell me that this does subside in the early sessions. I am experienced in many areas these include Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Depression, Stress, Trauma OCD and many other areas not listed.
