Hello, I'm Tina and I offer creative therapy to people who'd like to explore a range of issues in a safe, supportive and welcoming environment. Through playing and listening to music, art-making, and other creative methods, we can often approach challenges and difficulties that might be difficult to think about through talking alone. It can be helpful for people experiencing anxiety, depression, difficulty with relationships, difficult emotions (such as grief, anger, stress, low self-esteem, sadness), challenging life events, learning coping skills, and more. Together we can approach challenges with compassion and curiosity.
I am a Music Psychotherapist. This means that as well as talking, I also use music (and other creative practices) to help people explore their emotions and express themselves. You don't need to have any musical skill to benefit from music therapy - I will support you to find ways to access music, and think about how what we discover relates to your life.
I am warm and approachable, and I'm passionate about supporting people to experience empowerment, self-discovery and connection with others. I understand the idea of trying psychotherapy that involves music can be daunting for some - you're more than welcome to contact me for free initial conversation with no obligation.
