Many of the issues we face in life can be hard to deal with alone. With help, thinking about who we are, what we want and what is wanted from us we can identify and address problematic areas in our relationships with ourselves, with others and with the world of work and love, overcoming obstacles and reducing our suffering. I offer a safe and secure space in which to articulate whatever may be playing on your mind. The way I practice is non-directive, meaning that you decide what you want to talk about and when so can explore what may be troubling you at your own pace, either in person in east London or remote.
Before beginning therapy and psychoanalytic training I studied philosophy and religion. This consisted of looking at how people across time and place have tried to tackle some of life's big questions, what it means to be a human engaged in work and love, dealing with life's ups and downs, identity, sexuality, death and other people.
I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, with diverse problems from anxiety to eating disorders, psychosis to depression, addiction to complex post traumatic stress disorder and grief. In my view, everyone's situation and difficulties are unique, there is no one size fits all or singular answer. Don't hesitate to reach out.
