Therapy can be a magical process of change and discovery; nowhere else in our lives do we have the undivided attention of someone for an hour. Together we'll look at repeating patterns in life that are unhelpful for you and work to discover the root of these and make some changes. We make decisions about who we are in childhood also that then become outdated, we'll look at these and make some changes here too. I also incorporate mindfulness and awareness of the present moment into your therapy as much as I can. The past can lead us to depression and the future to anxiety. Peace is in the present moment.

The therapeutic relationship is like no other. From the outset my goal is to bring about positive change in your life through focusing and considering the reasons for your issues. This can be a bit overwhelming at first as it's not something we have in our own lives much, but the effects are profound.

Transactional Analysis

I work with Transactional Analysis (TA) primarily although I'm also trained in Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy. TA looks at decisions made in childhood about who you are which have led to behaviours in the current moment that are not helpful. We call this your 'life script' and together we will look at changing your life script to something more helpful.
