After 12 years in mental health care, working in NHS trauma and psychotherapy specialist services + private practice, I am a senior counselling psychologist specialising in trauma. I support people to rebuild after trauma and adversity, which can manifest as (complex) PTSD, emotional dysregulation, family and relational challenges, high levels of self-criticism and shame, and other challenges.
Using evidence-based trauma-informed therapies bespoke to your needs – e.g. EMDR, attachment-focused EMDR, schema therapy, compassion focused therapy, CBT – I strive to offer a safe therapeutic space and relationship where you feel seen, heard and held, so you can heal from the past, improve current difficulties, and be empowered towards a life you want.
My approach is warm and compassionate, with humour and straight-talking as appropriate.
