I support clients with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, trauma, the impact of abuse, and life transitions. I also have experience working with individuals living with ADHD and other forms of neurodivergence, supporting the unique challenges this can bring to identity, emotional regulation, self-worth, relationships and everyday life. My practice is rooted in GSRD-aware principles, ensuring that diverse gender identities, sexualities, and relationship structures are respected, offering an affirming, supportive space that fosters a sense of belonging.
My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of how early relationships and life experiences shape the way we think, feel and relate to others. Including parts-based approaches, IFS, and structural dissociation, with particular relation to the impact of trauma, how patterns of experience, survival and coping can be passed down generations.
My path into counselling was shaped by working alongside people from all walks of life, this deepened my respect for the richness and complexity of human emotion, relationships and lived experience and informs the compassionate, trauma-informed counselling I offer today.
