I am BACP Accredited/PNCPS Professional Accredited. I help people have better relationships with themselves and those around them. If your 'emotional suitcase' is heavy to lift life may feel overwhelming, your relationships may feel strained or are breaking down, you may feel anxious, depressed, angry, lost or stuck, you may even have an inner voice that is really mean. All of this may create conflict, distance and pain, taking you away from yourself and those around you. Making sense of ourselves and the world begins to get really difficult. So, do you need help to unpack that case, sort through the contents and find clarity?
I integrate approaches such as Psychodynamic, including Attachment Based Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems and Compassionate Inquiry. I hold a certificate in Trauma Focused Therapy. Clients say they leave me with the ability to understand themselves, others, they feel lighter and can approach life differently.
However, sometimes we just get stuck. We may feel alone and turn our pain inward or engage in unhealthy behaviours. We may find it difficult to talk to family or friends because we may worry about their reactions, we may feel a burden, or it may even be that we just don't want to.
