I am a BACP Accredited counsellor and I help people to have better relationships. Together we gain clarity about your past and present to make change for the future. So, do you feel overwhelmed, are your relationships strained or are breaking down, do you feel anxious, depressed, angry, lost or stuck, or do you have an inner voice that is really mean? Do your relationships keep ending the same way, do you keep feeling the same old feelings or engage in behaviours that are harmful? Or do you find it really difficult to get close to people? I integrate approaches such as Psychodynamic, including Attachment Based Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis, Internal Family Systems and Gabor Mate's Compassionate Inquiry. I hold a certificate in Trauma Focused Therapy. Clients say they leave me with the ability to understand themselves, they feel lighter, calmer and can approach life differently.
I believe if we are reconnected to our authentic selves then everything begins to fall into place. Relationships become more intimate, fulfilling and stronger, emotions more regulated and we begin to understand our defences/blocks. We can let go of relationships that are not good for us and move towards ones that are. It is a journey of support.
