The Stephenson Centre is a private counselling and psychotherapy centre in Ipswich town near the waterfront. We have a team of counsellors, psychotherapists and clinical psychologists offering individuals, couples and children counselling and therapy for a range of emotional problems including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, EMDR. We also offer low cost counselling and CBT.
We recognise how important it is to find the right therapist for you, one that you can connect with and one that you feel understands where you are coming from. For this reason it is really important to have an initial appointment which will allow you to get a sense as to whether counselling or therapy with that therapist could be helpful.
Following your initial appointment the counsellor or psychotherapist you see will suggest you have a think about the session so you can decide if it has been helpful to you and if you would like to continue to see the therapist. You can then make direct contact with them to arrange any further appointments.
