My goal is to work with children therapeutically to support them to process their emotional experiences, which support improved life choices now and, in the future, offer them fulfilment and increase their resilience so they can accept and cherish who they are. I work using the modality of play and creative arts to build a relationship with the child, so they can explore their emotional world in a space that is safe and nurturing. Professional integrity, interpersonal skills, and ethical practice are at the heart of what I do. I have developed my style of practising under the guidance of child-led holistic approaches.
I work with children and their families in response to the need presented, this can sometimes be a short piece of work for example to support a child to achieve a particular goal or a longer pieces where there has been a trauma that needs to be worked through
