Hello, I’m Gemma, a BACP‑registered integrative therapist based in Gateshead.
For the last two years I’ve supported adults and children through a wide range of challenges — anxiety that keeps them awake at night, navigating life after losing someone, or feeling lost in their identity after caring for others for so long. Everyone’s story is different, so it's only right that sessions are tailored to your unique life story.
My aim is to offer a warm, compassionate space where you can offload and explore what’s going on without judgement. There’s no expectation placed on you; this is your time, your space, and we move at your pace.
My practice is trauma‑informed and integrative, blending evidence‑based therapies with creative methods. I draw on person‑centred, CBT and psychodynamic approaches to shape sessions around what works for you. Whether you prefer talking things through or using creative tools like art to explore emotions, we work in a way that feels right for you.
I know that seeking support can feel daunting, and how important it is to get the right person to share your story with, which is why I offer a free 15 minute introductory call.
